House prices 'could drop another 55%' and leave Britain bankrupt

A respected City forecaster warned that house prices could fall a further 55% in Britain - leaving 6 million Britons in negative equity. It also predicts a deep recession lasting throughout next year and a 'very real probability' that Britain will go bankrupt.
